I was using Actionscript & it kinda came apparent why they put JavaScript in the equation.. How about - starting w a newer AS3..- as3.2 at that time only slowly incorporate the impl. Of JS slowly. And increment as3 by points . & semi-.'s until a Super Robust Flash emerges wond.erfully! Then it would just be semi-large feature by semi-large feature?

People think that Apple's stuff is the most intuitive , I find their ways/OS X 'Perfect' but blackberry between 1997 - 2012 has Actually -released - the perfect stuff the OS is far better than iOS there way and decisions a Boon! I know they're 'tanking' but what an awesome spec of an corporation...
